This policy explains how Doctor of Laxmi Advisory ("Doctor of Laxmi", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through doctoroflaxmi.com, our free tools, our downloadable material, and the conversations that follow.

It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will answer in plain language.

1. Who we are

Doctor of Laxmi Advisory is a business advisory practice working with Clinic and Hospital owners in India. We are based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, Doctor of Laxmi is the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy. You are the Data Principal.

2. What we collect

a. Information you give us directly

When you download a checklist, use one of our free tools, book a call, or write to us, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone or WhatsApp number
• The name of your Clinic or Hospital
• Your city
• Your Speciality
• Your website address, if you give it
• Answers you type into our free tools: for example enquiry volumes, consultation fees, bed counts, conversion figures and similar operating information about your own business
• A record of which consents you gave, the wording you agreed to, and when

b. Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data your browser sends: device type, browser, approximate location, referring page
• Which pages you visited and for how long, through Google Analytics
• The page you submitted a form from, and the site that referred you

c. Information stored only on your own device

Some of our free tools save your answers in your own browser so you can close the tab and come back to it. That data sits on your device. It does not come to us unless you press the button that sends it, or carry the result on to WhatsApp.

3. Why we collect it

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not share it with any third party for their own marketing. There is no exception to that sentence.

4. Consent, and how to withdraw it

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give at the point of collection. Each form states plainly what you are agreeing to, and consent is given by ticking a box that is not pre-ticked.

Consent is specific. Agreeing to receive a checklist by email is not the same as agreeing to receive WhatsApp messages, and the two are asked separately.

You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing one line to mehirr@doctoroflaxmi.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything lawfully done before you withdrew it.

5. WhatsApp messages

If you tick the WhatsApp box, you are agreeing that Doctor of Laxmi may send you messages on WhatsApp at the number you gave. That may include the material you asked for, related material, and follow-up about your enquiry.

• This consent is optional. You will receive what you asked for by email whether you tick it or not
• You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or by writing to us
• We will not add your number to any group, list or broadcast operated by anybody other than Doctor of Laxmi
• WhatsApp is operated by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control

6. Who else sees your data

Only the service providers we need in order to run the website and reply to you. Each of them processes data on our instructions.

Razorpay	Taking payment for the Workshop. Card, UPI and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us

Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, it happens in accordance with applicable law and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

We may also disclose data where we are required to do so by law, by a court, or by a lawful order of a government authority.

7. How long we keep it

You do not have to wait for these periods. Ask us to delete your data and we will.

8. How it is protected

We take reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data being lost, misused or accessed without authorisation. In practice that means the website is served over HTTPS, our records are held in access-controlled Google accounts protected by two-factor authentication, and access is limited to those who need it.

No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which are not. It sets cookies that record things like whether you are a first-time or returning visitor, and which page you arrived from. We do not use these to identify you personally.

Some of our free tools use your browser's local storage to save your progress. That stays on your device.

We also run the Meta pixel on our two paid programme pages, the Workshop page and the MasterClass page. It tells us whether an advertisement we paid for led to a registration, and it lets us show our own advertisements to people who have already visited those two pages. It runs on those pages only. It does not run on the Insights articles, the free tools or the rest of the site.

How to switch this off. You can turn off personalised advertising in your own Google account settings and your Meta account settings, install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or block third-party cookies in your browser. You can also write one line to mehirr@doctoroflaxmi.com and we will make sure you are not targeted by anything we run. Every part of this website works with all of it switched off.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. The website will still work.

10. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access: ask what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it
• Correction and completion: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated
• Erasure: have your data deleted, unless we are required by law to keep it
• Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it
• Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us and receive a response
• Nominate: nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity

To exercise any of these, write to mehirr@doctoroflaxmi.com. One line is enough. We aim to respond within 7 working days and to complete the request within 30 days.

This website and everything on it is intended for Clinic and Hospital owners and healthcare business professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child's data has reached us, tell us and we will delete it.

13. Client engagements and Hospital data

Where we work with a Clinic or Hospital under an engagement, any operating data shared with us during that work is handled under the confidentiality terms of the relevant agreement, which sit alongside this policy. Client information, figures and identities are treated as confidential and are not used in public material without written permission.

14. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we use data you have already given us, tell you directly.
